While we have internships throughout the year, the majority of our technical internships take place in the summer and last between 12 to 16 weeks. 4Bike interns play an important role in building the future for our customers. As a Customer Optimization and Enablement intern, you will have the exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team whose goal is to make it seamless for customers to do business with 4Bike. The team is positioned to simplify the customer experience by addressing operational issues and contributing to projects and programs. It contributes to the business in three dimensions:

a) simplifying pre-sales and post-sales customer experience
b) saving time from Account Managers in taking over operational tasks
c) enabling customer cost optimization.

You should be comfortable working directly with customers, possess good organizational skills, interest in creating simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The internship will be full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently in your penultimate or final year of a degree. Ideally completing this degree post-internship.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Fluent proficiency in English

Volunteer Blog Contributor

DESCRIPTION

Write powerful blogs that help spread awareness about Cycling and Healthy living, tell stories about cyclist life or put down on our blog reviews for bikes or cycling equipment.
 
4Bike has recently launched a blog as part of our content marketing strategy.
We are seeking a volunteer to work alongside the Marketing and Content Manager to
write 1-2 blogs per week in accordance with 4Bike’ marketing calendar. The
role will have opportunities to pitch content ideas and play a critical role in the
development of our blog strategy.
Your Volunteer Impact
Words are powerful! By helping us tell the stories of the cycling industry we help fly and wider
issues affecting the cyclist community, you will have a direct impact in helping
4Bike. Your articles and reviews will help us reach millions of cyclists around the world and help them not only to choose the correct equipment for them but also to promote cycling around the globe.
Location
Remote. As long as you have a computer and an internet connection, you can do this
position from wherever you may be, no matter the timezone!
Skills/Experience/Qualifications Required
● Experience writing for marketing blogs (or relevant marketing coursework)
● Familiarity with Cycling Industry
● Understanding of SEO
● WordPress knowledge preferred
Time Commitment
● Estimated 2-5 hours/week to write 1-2 blog posts
● Can work on your own schedule
● Expected to attend a monthly 1 hour marketing meeting
Organization Contacts/Support
● You will be working directly with the Marketing and Content Manager and closely
with the Communications Director
● Volunteer “buddy” will be assigned so you can connect with more people across
the organization
