The Juin tech F1 hydraulic cable pull flat mount disc brake set offers a unique solution to the road/gravel/cyclocross (CX) rider wanting to upgrade from mechanical cable pull disc brakes.
The F1 is the latest addition to the Juin Tech stable, sold as a pair including mounting bolts and rotors
The brake pads operate by a cable actuated closed hydraulic mineral oil system. This allows you to use your normal sti/ergo levers on a disc brake bike without the expense of upgrading everything to accommodate a full hydraulic set up.
Braking performance is enhanced over a mechanical disc brakes with easy pad and cable adjustment. The pistons actuate in a parallel motion unlike the one sided movement of a mechanical disc brake and at approx. 142grams per calliper they offer a substantial weight saving.
We have tested the R1 brakes in the 3 Peaks Cyclocross race, outstanding braking performance and stopping power. These brakes were put through their paces on some of the most gruelling descents you would every try to ride a cross bike down.

Arrived in the bright box with JuinTech on it. Looks the part everything feels sturdy and like it will be able to handle the job. Will update later when installed.

product as described, good quality , well packaged, easy to install. only issue I have with them on initial install the pistons are pushing the pads to the disc rotor and its constantly rubbing when aligned, may have to break them in but the pistons are very tight even after adjusting the hand adjuster.. worried to try and manually push them apart due to mineral oil leak.
